So I verified with foobar2000, a 24 bits, 96000 flac and using transcode
to "wav". Foobar receive 24/96 file an plays it nicely. What might
happen is that (I've seen that in the past) some players claim they
accept wav and actually do, but can't handle 24 bits wav, like the Lumi
seems to do. They will accept 24 bits flac and truncate them to 16 bits
but can't do 24 bits wav. So, unless you have a reason I don't get, I
strongly suggest that you use flac for transcoding
