I can see in the logs that you are getting random "HTTP Error 400: Bad Request" errors. Because the skill cannot specify the text of error messages, it returns a standard EXPIRED_AUTHORIZATION_CREDENTIAL to Amazon which is likely the wrong text for your error but at least indicates the request was not processed. Can you see in your nginx logs why the 400 was returned to the skill?
