I have same problem. Following old credentials nolonger working I just created a new Google Project, set up API key and also Personal account as per instructions, and apparently authorised OK. Now I at least get youTube search results (before on old Project I got nothing, though it worked some months ago). But no sound, and track resets to 0:00 after 3 seconds.
