Don't know what PnPIII is. This feels like LMS is resamplng the BBC stream but not the other stream. This can happen as in some formats resampling for internet streams was not setup especially with older LMS when internet stream were nearly all 44.1kHz/16 bits. To know definitively what is happening - enabling logging player.source to INFO - an play the problem stream. If present (i.e. transcoding/resampling happening) , the "Tokenized" command will show what transcoding/resampling is being used.
