.....spoke too soon! Not quite all running.  I was missing the latest
BBC iPlayer plugins so added from the
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/bpaplugins/betarelease-repo.xml
but not working well - tried to access Proms, and got error:
"Spotty requires the Perl module IO::Socket::SSL. You can NOT use Spotty
without this module. Please use your operating system's package manager
to install it."

I tried SSH to the piCorePlayer and commands I found as a proposed
solution but no go:-

tc@piCorePlayer:/$ sudo apt-get install libio-socket-ssl-perl
