Tx for looking! But I'm sorry to report that nothing seems to have changed in terms of scan times nor files.
Hmm... it seems that the LMS own async http client does handle the responses correctly, where the on used in the scanner (LWP::UserAgent) is not. I'm only getting partial responses from the server, and the client doesn't handle this properly. I'll have to investigate how I can tackle this.
