I had the exact same problem! Suddenly experienced +/- 30sec lag in
Spotty and often (but not allways) access token error in web ui.

Problem arose in LMS 7.9 so I upgraded to 8.1.1 incl. plugins. No dice.

Turned out ipv6 has been turned on by my ISP, creating problems. Turned
off ipv6 on the server nic level - and everything works!
(Left ipv6 on at the router + so it’s only my home server that’s
sticking to ipv4.)
