But I'm sure if we could squeeze in another LmsUpdate release (if that would solve the Perl 5.28 compatibility?), there would be plenty of downloaders. Synology are also still updating DSM 6.2 :-)
The problem is that LMSUpdate etc. rely on the perl binaries provided by Synology. And they no longer are compatible with the Perl version installed. I think that's the real end of LMS on Synology (without Docker). Any attempt to get it working again might prove to be a waste of time, as it'll always need to make sure it's compatible with whatever Perl version Synology decides to distribute.
