Hi erland <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, >> I think it is counting ratings 1-4 but not the 5* rated songs. >I've corrected it in the latest version available through the download >links in Custom Browse. Thanks for reporting. > I've downloaded and re-created the menu - seems to be reporting the correct stats now. BTW, what is the difference between Rated Songs and Rated Songs (TrackStat)?
>It is currently not possible to select "statistics to view" from the >TrackStat player menus. If you have any more thoughts >regarding the best way to do it from a user point of view, they are very >welcome. > I like the idea of having a default view for each trackstat menu, which can be changed by pressing a key (eg. add.hold) to get a menu of the allowed statistics to view options. This may be easier with 7.0, if we have the support for overloading remote keypresses, as discussed in the developer forum. My alternative suggestion was to provide another menu option in the list of items, so for example "TrackStat / Albums / Never Played Albums" currently displays a list of albums. A menu could be added (at the top or bottom of the list of 50 never played albums, in this example) called "Change view -> ", which would bring up another menu to select the statistics to view options. Upon selecting one, the player UI would return to the previous menu, using the new view. >> It would be nice if all statistic views could also order by disk number >> and then by track number (ie. after filtering/ordering by whatever >> chosen method). >I've added it to the wish list. The ordering when viewing statistics >that show tracks from a single album should probably always be >disc+tracknumber. That was my initial thought, but someone might legitimately want to see songs on eg. most played albums ordered by rating. Some album browsing modes are probably not appropriate in rating order, such as never played albums. That's why I was thinking that it could sort by rating, playcount, disk, track, as for the cases where rating and playcount are irrelevant, they would all be grouped together and thus disk and track number would order correctly. _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
