Listening through spotty plug-in, affects recommendations and the personal playlists of Spotify?
Unfortunately no. There's a bug in librespot which makes this fail. I'm currently working on updating the helper binary to the latest. We'll see whether this is working then. Unfortunately I don't think it's fixed yet. One developer says it was working at some point, but Spotify changed something on their end which broke his implementation.
