I think that means that it has found them at some time but not since the most recent restart of the plugin.
You could take a look at the local log of the plugin to see if there are any clues. Networking issues would be a typical reason - e.g. no response to a discovery packet because of LAN segmentation (although that would probably mean that something significant had changed in your home LAN setup since they last worked).
