If you power off/on the "virtual" player in LMS, does playback work again? BTW, you don't have to restart LMS - you have a "restart" button in the plugin's settings that should suffice LMS 8.2 on Odroid-C4 - *SqueezeAMP!*, 5xRadio, 5xBoom, 2xDuet, 1xTouch, 1xSB3.
