I use a similar process, but use winSCP sync from W10 to pCP USB drive and Robocopy between USB drives on W10. Only 3 copies though. The pCP USB drive is at the end of the process so I know if it works the backup copies are OK. winSCP uses sftp which is on pCP by default. I think its just a matter of using what is familiar to you. I use winSCP for pCP development and Robocopy for backups.
