@mherger Would it be possible to create a connect mode where solely Spotify is in command? Web-Interface and hardware player button commands would just be ignored?
I don't think so. At the very least play/stop must be handled on both ends, or I would imagine more odd behaviour (like playback starting again after powering off a SB). A Pi/ESP32 based solution could do it, implementing the Spotify Connect endpoint independently (SqueezeAMP does it already). In that case LMS would be totally independent of Spotify playback.
