Erm, wow, thanks for the detailed feedback Erland :-) I'll certainly make those changes. Storing the Artist name rather than the ID certainly is necessary, but I fear that it'll be more problematic that it sounds.
Regarding my incorrect use of the "split" function, could this be the reason why shuffled playlists appear to work OK, but I couldn't understand why?! If so, is there a recommended way to allow shuffled Dynamic Playlists?
