The problem is the volume of slaves is uninitialized and a 32 bits integer of -1 is used then. This -1 is converted to a 8 bits unsigned integer (255) per the trace hence what you experienced. I did a line-by-line comparison with version .5 and could not see anything that would explain why this usage of -1 was not a problem before, unless either the volume of the slave was acquired (I don't think it was) or there was another bug that was hiding this one, but reading the code I can't find it LMS 8.2 on Odroid-C4 - *SqueezeAMP!*, 5xRadio, 5xBoom, 2xDuet, 1xTouch, 1xSB3.
