The plugin generates a MusicIP mix in the same way that SlimServer does itself from the normal search and browse modes. I assume you're using SlimServer 6.5 (I have a test version of the plugin for 7.0, but I don't think MusicIP mixes are working for that at present).
Do MusicIP mixes work for you when you're using normal search or browse? Remember that only certain songs are 'mixable' (very long or short tracks are excluded, I think), and MusicIP needs to be running and configured properly in SlimSever, and you must have previously scanned the songs within MusicIP for them to be mixable. You can tell when things are set up correctly because mixable tracks in the search results are shown with a little "M" in the top-right corner on the player when the display is in two-line mode.
