Sorry - this is going to be tedious but as I don't have a Mac, there is a need to check the basics.
1. The Plugins directory which has the Alien folder also has all the other Plugins (e.g. DateTime, Health) and the Alien folder has the same owner and permissions as the other folders. 2. In the Alien folder there are a number of files most names something like AlienXXX.pm with 3 folder AlienAddon, HTML and Playlists. The Playlists directory has just 3 files. 3.
