The RSS News Ticker is primarily a screensaver while InfoBrowser is an extensible platform for browsing much more than RSS Feeds on bot player, webUI and Jive. They cannot be linked to the same prefs as there would be a number of them that cannot work with RSS New Ticker, not to mention probably not wanting the same items to scroll across you screen while idle. The menu layout is a work in progress.
