Hi, I ran an upgrade on my Ubuntu (7.10 Gutsy) box yesterday which has broken Alienbbc. Both slimserver and mplayer were upgraded. When I try and play an rtsp file I get the following error message:
Streaming: Launching mplayer -really-quiet -vc null -vo null -bandwidth 10000000 -cache 128 -af volume=0,resample=44100:0:1,channels=2 -ao pcm:nowaveheader:file=/dev/fd/3 rtsp://rmlive.bbc.co.uk/bbc-rbs/rmlive/ev7/live24/wales/live/wales_dsat_g2.ra?BBC-UID=c41774f4e3373360b3fab7d2d0f0d8cab5fcefbdc0200013ab5a40db92e7081b_n&SSO2-UID= 2007-11-21 14:18:21.6898 binmode() on unopened filehandle GEN52 at /usr/share/perl5/Slim/Player/Pipeline.pm line 159. 2007-11-21 14:18:21.7002 Use of uninitialized value in numeric eq (==) at /usr/share/perl5/Slim/Player/Squeezebox.pm line 800. mplayer: could not connect to socket mplayer: No such file or directory But then it goes bananas and puts unreadable binary data in the /var/log/slimserver file. Anyone having the same problem?
