Thanks for the reply, so I my first impression was true. I confirm you that SC handles multi-tags for albums and tracks.
However, I didn't check yet precisely how SC handle albums with different genre tags among album tracks. For classical (as this is why I'm concerned), I'm working on "classical works" concept. I tag genres for a track or for a group of tracks according to the work they represent. In a "classical compilation" (I hope I don't have such purist nightmare:) among my albums) , I can tag each track with their very own genres. In a standard classical disc, let's say a disc with two symphonies, each symphony (group of tracks) will have their own genres. For an opera in three disc, each tracks of the three discs will have the same genres. Right now, with moose, when I look for albums with genre "classical", I only see one third of the covers. It seems it's the album which have their first track with the first multi-item genre set to "classical" (I don't see those which are tagged "Baroque;Classical" (for example). A state of the art implementation (AFAICT) would be to keep genre tags at track level and create the album tags as a "unique/distinct union" of all tracks genres of the given album. Would it be possible to add multi-genre improvement in the Moose todo list?
