I had pretty much given up on Last.FM on SlimServer 6.5.4 It just didn't work at all anymore. If you wanted to listen to, say, "similar artists to Miles Davis" you'd eventually get artists like Metallica. If you wanted to listen to "similar artists to Frank Sinatra" you'd eventually get Metallica.
I finally made the move to SqueezeCenter 7 andLast.FM works as it should. I DID install the Squeezescrobbler to get it working, but it works properly, and the "similar artist" thing which is about the only Last.FM feature I use, works perfectly. Last.FM is nice when I want some background music and I want to listen to something other than my own music (just for a little variety). Sure, they play some duds at times, but it's still nice every once in a while.
