Did you happen to replace your Internet router/firewall? I had exactly these symptoms after changing my Internet firewall/router from a Linksys to an Apple Airport Extreme. When I removed the Extreme and put the Linksys back, all was well. There are posts on this forum describing RTSP streaming problems with Apple's Airport Extreme.
