Peter: I just wanted to let you know that I've successfully made the
switch from the CM17A to the CM11A and from br to heyu.
PowerCenter-7a9 is working just fine for me on my fedora system,
running SC7.1. PowerCenter successfully turns my power amps on and
off, mirroring the power state of my transporter. Also, PowerCenter
seems to work perfectly with my SBC, allowing me to control all the x10
modules from the jive. I'd love to see you extend that same capability
to the iPeng skin/plugin.

I downloaded heyu-2.2.0.tgz from the heyu download page and built the
heyu binary from the source. The CM11A has some cool features
supported by heyu! For instance, I've made macros that turn my
humidifier on and off at the appropriate times, but only between
October and April. Also, the dawn/dusk-based-on-geographic-location
support is nice too, for turning on lights at the appropriate times.
The fact that the CM11A will fire off these events, once they've been
downloaded to the CM11A, without needing a PC to tell it what to do is
a big, big plus, IMHO. And at the price that you can pick up a CM11A
for on eBay, what more can one ask?

I'm sounding like an infomercial here, but you've turned me into a
fan.

It was PowerCenter that prompted me to make this switch. Thanks again!
