I think the fault is WFMU's - they have used the ISO Latin-1 encoding value for cent which is A2 instead of the UTF-8 encoding C2 A2.
Alternatively WFMU could have used the HTML sequence ¢ The fact that the cent character does not show up in Firefox and other browser when viewing the XML page - confirms my view WFMU is wrong. However UTF8 encoding / HTML has confused me many times so I will not enter any discussion. I think you should e-mail the station and see if you get a response. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=47248 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
