Hi Michael Answers to you questions are;
1. 700 gig, (approx) 2. FreeNAS was installed by copying an image on to a USB stick & then setting the PC up to run/boot of the USB stick. FreeNAS is actually running on the memory stick so the total capacity of the RAID array is available for storage. 3. Already checked & fixed prior to SlimNAS installation attempt.
