The modem/router is a "b-box 2" VDSL. Unfortunately I made the move here, updated squeezecenter and alienbbc all in one go so I can't say which change has caused the problem. I also suspected port 554 from reading other posts, but I switched the modem security to low, which allows incoming and outgoing traffic, and still had the same problem. I assume that this is the same as opening port 554 (but could be wrong).
