Hi- Thanks for your help. I unblocked the two apps mentioned above in the Windows Firewall (that and Avast anti-virus - are my security). I can't tell if that was effective as I came to the realization that some of the NPR feeds work but most don't. Yes, I can play .wma files fine. One that seems to work consistently for me is Day to Day. I can't figure out what makes it any different than the other feeds. How do I go about figuring out what's going on?
