Hi wholelottaled, Thanks - I did what you recommended but to no avail. I ended up removing version 3.7 and installed ver 3.8 and bingo - it work!
At tip to all if you get a flashing display on the softsqueeze 'sqeezebox' display: register/add the pin of the softsqeeze player at www.squeezenetwork.com.
