A new version of AlienBBC is available for beta testing. This beta is only available for 7.3.x and 7.4.
The main aim of the beta is to support SqueezeCenter 7.4noweb-sqllite. An initial version of a new feature has been added to display station logo and provide "Now & Next" information on live WMA (e.g. using "More Radio" menu) and RealAudio streams. This feature enables UK users to use the higher speed BBC WMA URLs and get program information. please provide feedback on this feature (e.g. not useful, make configurable, change layout) The "Now & Next" information is put into the "Artist" and "Album" fields so on WebUI the "Next" info is displayed above the "Now". On Squeezeplay - the "next" info will scroll after the "Now" on the "Now playing" display. There a few bug fixes to show program information again when playing "Listen Again". INSTALLATION. 1. Add this repository to Extension Downloader http://alienbbc.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/testrepo.xml 2. A new entry will appear offering AlienBBC upgrade to 2.6b1-7.3. Select and click Apply. 3.
