Not sure, but I use http://server:9000/Handheld/home.html on my 8900 and it works fine. Perhaps pointing all the way to the .html page will help you. I haven't played with multiple active squeezeboxes though. Sometimes, when listening to my speakers in my backyard, I venture outside the range of my wireless network.
