It's easier, it's cheesier, it's new improved SqueezeIR!! Attached is SqueezeIR version 0.1. It's a complete re-write of the previous version with many new features: 1) Support for (most) LIRC files (including those created by irBlaster). 2) IR Codes can be sent from any button from any screen, not just from within SqueezeIR menus. 3) The IR codes that a button sends can automatically change as you change the player that the Controller is looking at. 4) xml Based configuration. I strongly suggest getting a "proper" xml editor to work with it rather than a plain text editor. 5) Customised sounds can be played when an IR code is sent. 6) User-defined key combinations can be used to send IR codes. 7) Hotkey to quickly change the setup of the Controller. 8) New protocols supported: PRONTO & DENON (old Denon protocol now called NAD) 9) Should work with SqueezeCenter 7.3x & Squeezebox Server 7.4x
To Do: Get the popup messages working nicely. They have been temporarily removed until I an get them to work with SBS7.4. Get a nice icon for the Applet in the Home Menu. Enable changes to the xml config to be effected without rebooting the controller Installation SCP into the controller. Copy the contents of the zip file into the applets folder (as before). Read the stuff in the SqueezeIR\docs folder. Edit the SqueezeIR\data\SqueezeIR.xml file to suit your needs. Reboot your controller. Go to settings->SqueezeIR to activate your settings. Point your controller at your amp. Simples.
