Yep.
The answer is: iPeng needs to talk to your server (if you use a local
one) or needs internet access to MySqueezebox.com if you don't use a
local server.
If you use a WiFi router that router will typically reside on your
local network so this should not be an issue.

Configurations like a computer (as a server) with a hard-wired
connection to the Squeezebox and a WiFi connection between the computer
and the router will thus work, too.

There is one case where you might need some manual configuration, and
that is if your router uses a different subnet for the WiFi network and
for the wired network (where your server is on), e.g. 192.168.0.x vs.
192.168.1.x.
In this case the server discovery might not work and you need to set
your server's IP address manually.
