Yep. The answer is: iPeng needs to talk to your server (if you use a local one) or needs internet access to MySqueezebox.com if you don't use a local server. If you use a WiFi router that router will typically reside on your local network so this should not be an issue. Configurations like a computer (as a server) with a hard-wired connection to the Squeezebox and a WiFi connection between the computer and the router will thus work, too. There is one case where you might need some manual configuration, and that is if your router uses a different subnet for the WiFi network and for the wired network (where your server is on), e.g. 192.168.0.x vs. 192.168.1.x. In this case the server discovery might not work and you need to set your server's IP address manually. -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote, at penguinlovesmusic.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=74073 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
