FYI, I was prompted to upgrade IRBlaster to 5.6 and did. First, my .conf files were wiped off in the process, and second when I tried using IR Blaster from the remote on my two SB3s, noting was happening at all. Using the "test" button in IRBlaster's settings worked ok.
Since a reboot of the SB3 nor plenty of SC restarts would solve the issue, I rolled back to version 5.5, and IRBlaster restarted operating ok.
