I asked earlier but I don't know if you saw my question about dynamically adding items to the right hand side playlist as they play (see Erlands dynamic playlists). Would that prevent the cache from filling up? The downside is of course that you will only see a portion of the playlist on the right hand side. Might be an option for very large playlists further down the road?
