Make sure to check what the "View Tags" link in the song details page in
the SBS web interface displays. If you by accident are using multiple
tagging types, SBS scanner might pick the tag information from the
wrong tags, for example both ID3 and VORBIS tags.
There is a "Roles to include" parameter in the Custom Browse menu
configuration but its default setting unless you have manually checked
any check boxes should be that it base the menu contents on ARTIST and
ALBUMARTIST. Maybe some of the tracks have the artist tagged with a
BAND tag ? In that case you need to manually check the checkboxes in
"Roles to include" parameter.
The letter level in the "Artist by letter" menu is based on the first
letter in the artist sort value. I'm not completely sure how artist
sort values for ALBUMARTIST is scanned.
I think the Custom Browse menu should show both compilation albums and
normal albums under an artist in the Artist By Letter menu. The
compilation flag only limits which artists it displays in the parent
menus.
I assume you aren't using a Multi Library plugin and this menu is
restricted to only show information in a specific library ?
