New to this forum. Installed the Spotify 3rd party plugin today. Am unable to get the helper app to run. Have restarted server and pc a number of times to no avail.
I have a premium spotify account and I am certain that the login information provided is correct. I am able to see Spotify under Internet Radios but when I try to access say Top 100 -> Artists I get an error message: (Connect timed out: Bad file descriptor). I guess this is due to the Helper app not running? When I search my harddrive for spotifyd.exe, I get no results..?? When I look in the serverlog I see: [10-09-04 21:07:57.9514] Plugins::Spotify::Spotifyd::startD (33) unable to write log file: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Programdata\Squeezebox\Logs\spotifyd.log ..so I ceated the file myself. Error message disappears from log after a restart but Helper app will stil not run. Win XP.
