I doubt that wavin is causing 20 sec delay. First just using a native PC OS (not virtual PC stuff), Wavin input, wave input standard config (i.e. no user mods), no altered transcoding and a hardware SB player - time the difference between a keyboard beep from PC speaker and output from speaker attached to SB player. Then report back the time delay.
