A bit more information. I checked the modified the start command based on thefunctions.inc file.
Here's what I get with the modified start command: [r...@freenas /mnt/wasabi/slimnas]# HOME=/mnt/wasabi/slimnas/ PAR_GLOBAL_CLEAN=1 TEMP=/mnt/wasabi/slimnas/var/squeezebox/Cache TMPDIR=/mnt/wasabi/slimnas/var/squeezebox/Cache /usr/local/bin/perl /mnt/wasabi/slimnas/squeezebox/slimserver.pl --user=www --daemon --pidfile=/mnt/wasabi/slimnas/var/squeezebox.pid Your locale was detected as C, you may have problems with non-Latin filenames. Consider changing your LANG variable to the correct locale, i.e. en_US.utf8 Killed: 9 Again no reason for why the process is killed.. I'm running my HP t5700 with only 256MB of RAM.
