I think there's a problem with the CDPlayer plugin v1.08_7.3a on Windows Home Server build 3790 Service Pack 2 and all current maint installed. SC is running at 7.5.2 - r31632 and is installed and running as a service. From some other threads I thought the following would help speed up identifying the problem. First thing is a cddawav2 -scanbus. It correctly shows my CD ROM drives on scsibus5 and 6. The SC startup log with CDPlayer in Debug is in the attached SClog.txt file.
