Thanks Andrew, My issue wasn't with an XBOX but rather with Whitebear running on Windows Server 2003. I tried the test version and got some interesting results: SBS7.5.3/Whitebear 2 on the same PC running Windows 2003SBS... >From a Vista laptop I can see the Whitebear server and the Squeezeboxes as renderers in my network neighbourhood but I cannot browse the Whitebear library from within Windows Media Player. >From my Nokia N79 mobile phone I can browse the whitebear library and play to any of the squeezeboxes. I can also play music stored on my phone direct to a squeezebox using Whitebear (that is a neat feature!). >From my mobile I cannot synchronise/download tracks from the library to my mobile. The fact that my mobile can see the Whitebear library implies that Whitebear itself is working on W2003 so it must be a Vista problem that prevents me from browsing my remote library - I'll do a little more digging... -- indifference_engine 2xReceiver, 2xController, 1xSB3, 2xSqueezeSlave, SBS 7.5.3 Inventor of SqueezeIR applet for the Controller ------------------------------------------------------------------------ indifference_engine's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20698 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=80632 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
