Is Amarok and SBS running on the same computer ?
If not, could it be that the Amarok computer has gone into sleep mode
?

I assume Amarok hasn't been restarted during the synching ?

Can you look at the CPU usage of the computer running Amarok to see if
MySQL starts using 100% CPU or something similar when the problem
occurs ?
