FYI, I experienced the iPeng crash at startup syndrome in 2 instances: - once after a full rescan, where some (all?) players had and empty playlist. - another time where all players had playlists, except perhaps the iPad on iPeng player. Both iPeng on iPhone and on iPad were crashing.
The 1st time the issue was resolved by loading a playlist for players via the web interface.
