With SoftSqueeze 3.9b2 on my Lion Mac and 7.6 on Linux, if I play some music, pause SoftSqueeze, and come back to it later, the music plays (I see the vu meter going), but SoftSqueeze does not turn the digital output back on. I can tell that on my speaker controller. Exiting from SS and restarting it fixes things until the next extended pause.
