Would be interested to see how all the tags looks like for one track
from each of the duplicated artist, for example one track by "David
Guetta" and one track by "David Guetta & Chris Willis". You can use the
"View Tags" link in the SBS web interface available when viewing details
of a song.
I know Musicbrainz did some merging when they migrated to the new model
earlier this year but I'm not sure if they did anything related to
artists. If they merged them and you have retagged with picard
afterwards it feels like it should have also put the same values in the
ARTIST/ALBUMARTIST tag an not just changed the musicbrainz artist id
tag.
