Logitech Media Server Version: 7.7.1 - r33735 @ Mon Nov 28 15:45:08 PST
2011
Hostname: cedar
IP: 192.168.0.2
HTTP Port: 9000
OS: Debian - EN - utf8
Platform: i686-linux
Perl Version: 5.10.1 - i486-linux-gnu-thread-multi
Database Version: DBD::SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1)
Total Players Recognized: 3

But I just tried it on my OS X build (7.7.1 also) and the same thing
happens.

In fact, I just tried browsing through the web interface and the same
exact thing is happening so I think it's an intermittent problem
overall and not just CLI-specific. This is on OS X and Linux and I've
seen CLI, JSON-RPC and web site failures. The only one I've been using
is the "What's New" and when it fails it always pulls up the first item
of the What's New list instead of whatever was clicked.

Presumably there is some caching going on in the plugin, because I
don't see calls to Spotify on every click. Can I add some
instrumentation to the cache layer to see if maybe we're getting some
sort of key collision? I'm not super fluent in Perl but I do OK -- I'd
certainly like to get to the bottom of this.

Thanks for your continued help on this....
