Hello, I would be grateful for any help anyone can offer with a question.
I am considering buying a Logitech Squeezebox Touch. I run a Windows Vista Home PC with a LaCie NAS Internet Space connected to a router. Please note, not Wireless space or Network Space (which are the subject of other posts). This seems to be quite an old piece of kit (partly why I own it, it was relatively inexpensive). I have checked the various fora (having been directed here by Logitech) and while there are instructions for other types of LaCie disk, no-one talks specifically about the one which I have. I have not yet contacted LaCie. Does anyone know, therefore, if I will be able to stream to the LST from the LaCie IS, without having the PC switched on? I gather from reading other threads that it will be necessary to install the squeezebox software on the LaCie IS (advice for other LaCie products) and that this is not particularly easy for a beginner such as myself (and perhaps not possible for the type which I own). Any advice therefore firstly on whether this CAN work and subsequently on HOW a beginner such as myself could make this happen will be very gratefully received.
