Hi , My question is more suited for the people who have Logitech Media server running on a freenas server. I suppose the 3rd party software forum is maybe a better place for this question:
I am reinstalling LMS again on a fresh freenas installation. This time I use a 16 GB SSD kingston drive. Freenas booting like crazy . What I am trying to do is to install slimnas in the root on the SSD in /slimnas. This is a little deviation of your install instruction. Benefit would be that I could have the 1 TB datadisk (/mnt/data) spin down. I have the extension in the freenas menu, but when choosing a LMS version (i have 7.5.1, 7.7.0 and 7.7.1 only the folders usr var etc are created in the slmnas folder, but files are not copied in them.
