Thank you. I have tried this; perl slimserver.pl --user=www --d_startup --debug server=debug and it states that there are permission issues with many of the .pm file located within the /mnt/data/mediaserver/squeezebox/ directory and sub-directory system, and not being able to open and save files. I tried; chmod -R 777 to the directory and chown -R www:www to the directory and it is still is giving permission issues when running the cmd above. This is being done in shell on the server, and not done remotely. Perl does does not seem to be operating on the processes status page, would this be correct?
