The likeliest cause is some DNS issue within LMS, can sometimes be startup order, LMS is running before there is any network and never ever recovers. Some DNS issue with the vortexbox itself . Wrong password .
You get no apps because LMS can't access mysqueezebox.com . What is server log saying ?
